It can be difficult for any parent to meet the needs of their children. Special needs families often face emotional, physical, and financial barriers when ensuring the requirements of care for their child are met.
C.A.M.P is here to remove these burdens by providing FREE waiver application support services and referrals to local community resources. Together WE can accomplish our goals to help parents and caretakers gain access to the health and educational services their children need and deserve.
And while our main objective is to keep our waiver application services FREE for our families, as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have been forced to assess a cost to our families filing appeals on waiver application denials. Please know that we hope that this is a temporary decision, and as soon as we can counter this challenge, we will once again be able to offer this service for free again!
We assist approximately 300 families each year for FREE applying for the Katie Beckett & NOW/COMP Medicaid Waivers. The money these families save because of our assistance, improves their quality of life, gives their disabled children access to quality, affordable & in some instances, free healthcare, and contributes substantially to economic development within their respective communities.
We have vetted over 200 of Georgia's most qualified Special Needs service providers who share our vision to promote health and overall well-being for the families we serve. These organizations provide service in the areas of marital & family counseling, financial, legal, mental health and Special Education advocacy support.
We believe that ensuring Special Needs families have the resources necessary to properly care for their disabled loved ones is critical. These are decisions that will require life long planning for when parents & other caretakers are no longer around to care for their disabled children. Once a through plan is created, and even modified
We believe that ensuring Special Needs families have the resources necessary to properly care for their disabled loved ones is critical. These are decisions that will require life long planning for when parents & other caretakers are no longer around to care for their disabled children. Once a through plan is created, and even modified over the years, it will need to be recorded and shared with everyone who will care, or provide services for these children throughout their lifetime.
